BRIC is a centre of excellence in biomedical research, with 300 employees working in 26 research groups. The work environment is open, collaborative and international with around 65% of the researchers having an international background. The daily language is English. Our primary goals are to perform cutting-edge basic research, to translate our research into value for the society and to provide excellent research training of young researchers. BRIC's scientific goals are to contribute to the understanding of how and why disease occurs, to discover new disease-related genes, and support generation of new efficient treatments. The centre is located in modern buildings with state-of-the-art infrastructure.
